Visual references are REQUIRED! It is recommended that you have artwork or images of an existing character that you want drawn. No AI generated images is allowed!

For character design commissions, you must have photos and/or detailed description of what you want your character to look like.

Each additional character add 25% to base price.

All costs for sketches and flat color character art can be for either portraits, waist up, or full body. Example: Flat color is $90 for either a portrait, full body, or waist-up.

If I have to design a character from scratch (going off from stock photos and/or description only), add 50% to base price.

Each additional figure (this includes mecha like vehicles, animals, and/or characters) add 25% to base price.

Characters with cybernetics, tattoos, armor, weaponry, etc add 5% to base price.

Landscape backgrounds with minimum painting using free stock photos as references, and/or gradient only will be FREE of cost for illustrations! Painted illustrations including landscapes or simple building/structures add 15% to base price. Anything regarding complex backgrounds like intricate cityscapes/buildings that require use of 3D models or perspective tools add 50% to base price.

Original Characters, LGBTQ+ characters, Anthro, Furry, Monster, Creatures, DnD (or other TTRPG), etc.!

Fan art of characters from a specific series/tv show/video games/etc can be requested! If unsure, always ask!

I am not a pro at drawing mecha so this is a 'maybe' but I will do my best to my ability if you feel comfortable with me giving a go at drawing them.

Art that promotes hatred, bigotry, or is insensitive.

Explicit adult art (while I have no personal qualms with drawing artistic nudity, I am not comfortable drawing sexual scenes at this time). This includes extreme fetish art as well (you can always ask to make sure).

I have the right to refuse a commission for whatever reason, and am not required to elaborate on why. Please respect that.

Payments are via PayPal / Ko-Fi / Venmo in USD ONLY!

Invoices must be paid in full before any work is started.

There are no refunds once I start working on your commission. If you think there is a possibility that you might need that money for any other reason, please do not commission me.

I will send works in progress from start to finish to you via your preferred choice of contact (Discord, e-mail, social media, etc.) once payment is received.

I do NOT work on weekends! So please be mindful of that.

For sketch commissions, you will get updates before the piece is done to completion - one very rough pose sketch, and a refined version that includes all details to be added.

For flat color commissions, you will get updates before the piece is done to completion - one very rough pose sketch, refined version that includes all details to be added, ink, and a flat color works in progress.

Please make any requests for pose and body type changes before or during the first sketch only, and for missing details during the second pass. Once the piece is finished, only minor edits will be done free of charge (color changes, small missing details). Any additional changes past the refined sketch or line art - add 5% per revision to total cost.

I will do revisions at the end if a mistake is my own fault, but once the second sketch is approved no major edits will be done. Please make sure to address any concerns you may have during the sketch phase (better to tell me something then than be charged extra). I expect clear communication and replies in a timely manner.

You, as the client, can re-post your commission: it is for your personal, private use (such as icons, profile images, forum signatures, additions to personal galleries, printouts for yourself). Limited alterations of the artwork, such as cropping or adding text, are permitted as long as it’s for your personal use. Do not edit out my signature when sharing to personal galleries or printing it.

Your character is always yours, but since these are private commissions, you have no commercial rights to the artwork itself and thus cannot legally use it to make money. I retain the rights to the image. Do not repurpose the art for logos or any other commercial advertisement.

Commissions will be posted publicly on social media with watermark/sig, but the highest (original) resolution of the art will only be sent to you, the client.

Clients DO NOT have the right to mint/sell their commissions for NFT/Crypto/Meta/AI.

Nothing made by me, DragonFoxStar, may be used in any blockchain-related technology. This includes NFTs, cryptocurrency, AI, or any future inventions in that space (Meta for example).
